We’d rather make less and make it well. Here’s how that plays out in practice.

Made to order, not to landfill

Because we produce each piece only once it's ordered, we avoid the overproduction and end-of-season markdowns that send so much homeware to landfill. It's the single biggest thing we do to keep our footprint down. Read more on our Made on demand page.

Materials

We favour natural, long-lived materials — stoneware, linen, solid timber, and paper — chosen to age gracefully and be repaired or recycled at the end of a long life rather than thrown away.

Packaging & delivery

Plastic-free packaging: recycled and recyclable paper, card, and paper tape.
Right-sized boxes to cut waste and shipping volume.
Made in the UK, close to where our orders ship, to keep transport short.
